Product Questions
What happens if the batteries run out or I forget my code for the safe?
Question by: Peter Smithson on 3 Feb 2015, 01:00
As this safe is an insurance approved safe it does not have any emergency override access. On entry level models emergency keys can be used to gain entry. The batteries are located externally so if they are low on power they can easily be changed. We usually recommend the batteries are changed on 6 to 12 month intervals. If you do forget the code there is no way of gaining access without a locksmith visiting to drill open the door.
