Extra High Security Safes – Eurograde 5

Eurograde 5 safes are currently some of the highest graded safes available on the market. The manufacturing process of each safe has been completed to an excellent standard along with the materials used.

Each grade 5 safe has been constructed in line with the standard of EN-1143-1. Extensive tests are completed so that a safe meets the European security standard of EN-1143-1 for safes.

Burglary and Fire Protection

As there is a natural requirement to store large amounts of cash or high value items such as jewellery and watches. The necessity for a Eurograde 5 safe to have rigorous burglary and fire protection is paramount.

Nearly all of the high security grade 5 safes offer both protection for burglary and a fire rating at the same time. Keeping your cash and valuables secured is important for your peace of mind.

A valuables rating is always ten times the value of a cash rating on every level of safe when making the selection.

Each Eurograde safe has a cash rating and valuables rating. The valuables rating is always 10 times the value of the cash rating. A Eurograde 5 safe has the cash rating of £100,000 whilst the the valuables rating is £1,000,000.

Fire Protection

A fire rating of either 30 minutes or 60 minutes are the fire rating options on Grade 5 safes. Each one will have been tested against a certain fire protection standard such as EN15659 or NT Fire 017.

Certification – AiS and Secured By Design

Eurograde 5 safes are AiS Approved (Association of Insurance Surveyors) which is ideal when you are in contact with your insurance company about your premiums for an insurance policy. They are one of the main accreditation bodies within the UK

Some grade 5 safes are also approved by - Secured by Design, which is a Police Preferred Specification – SBD.

Dual Locking – Key or Electronic Locking

The dual locking combination on grade 5 safes provides a extra high security protection for your contents inside the safe.

You can chose from either a key lock and electronic locking or a key lock (x2) or electronic lock (x2).

When purchasing a safe the choice of the correct safe size is vitally important. As you need to work out the position of where the safe is due to go in your property along with the internal dimensions and capacity on the inside of the safe.
