The Chubbsafes HomeVault S2 Plus is a high security home safe that is ideal for securing cash and valuables. It has been approved by AiS (Assocation of Insurance Surveyors) along with Sold Secure. The HomeVault S2 Plus comes with an insurance rating of £4,000 for cash and £40,000 for valuables.
Description
The HomeVault S2 Plus from Chubbsafes is a high security burglary-resistant safe. It has been designed to secure cash, valuables, jewellery and watches.
The external dimensions of the S2 Plus are 295 x 385 x 325 mm (H x W x D) with the internal dimensions being 210 x 305 x 220 mm (H x W x D). It has an internal volume of 14 litres.
With its modern design the HomeVault Plus is ideal as either a home or office safe.
Internal Features
The HomeVault Plus Series comes supplied with a soft leather effect mat that is designed to protect your watches and jewellery from damage.
An internal automatic light is provided which helps with the visibility of items, It can be recharged by USB port and can be moved into your preferred location.
Certification
S2 Burglary Protection – All sizes on the HomeVault series have been certified in accordance with European Standard EN 14450 to burglary resistance Level S2.
Insurance Approved - The HomeVault has also been approved by the Association of Insurers (AiS).
Sold Secure and Secured by Design – It has been certified to Silver Standard by Sold Secure. Along with approval from Secured by Design – Police Preferred Specification – (Chubbsafes holds SBD Accreditation)
DIN:4102 - The HomeVault Plus has double walled construction that is filled with a fire insulation material that complies with DIN:4102
Locking Type - Double Bitted Key Lock
The Chubbsafes HomeVault Plus has a double-bitted key lock (EN 1300 certified Class A) and comes standard with 2 keys. The variant with a double-bit key lock offers high reliability, is easy to operate and competitively priced.
Take into account the management of a double-bit key, these are often long keys that you should store safely. Should a burglar find the safe key, he has unimpeded access to the safe. A variant with a key lock requires good and secure key management. Therefore always consider an electronic code lock.
Construction
The HomeVault Plus has been constructed with a steel body and door, the internal hinges also provide extra security from potential attacks. Anti-Drill protection on the door also adds on an extra level of protection. The fixed hinge bolts have the diameter of 25mm.
The handle provided on the HomeVault Plus is a 3 spoke vault style handle, the interior of the safe has been finished with a fully lined carpet interior to protect your valuables from scratching and being damaged. The weight of the HomeVault Plus is 34kg.
Installation
In terms of installation, the safe comes with pre-drilled fixing holes in the base and rear of the safe. A fixing kit is included with each safe, Chubbsafes recommend the safe to be installed into a concrete floor where possible.
